We are pleased to announce that the A.C. Jitney Association has agreed to provide our Yacht Club Members with Jitney service to and from the club. The service begins Memorial Day Weekend and continues Friday & Saturdays only until June 21. From June 21 until Labor Day the Jitneys will run 7 days a week. Members must still pay the normal rate when heading to and from the club. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the club for $1.75 each.

To the Club
Members must catch the Jitney on the normal route on Landis. The Yacht Club will not be on the Jitney's normal route, so Members must instruct the driver that they'd like to be dropped off at the Club. The Jitney will then continue its normal route until it reaches 44th street, where it will leave the route to drop Members off at the Club.

From the Club
At the top of every hour (8PM-11PM), a Jitney will be stopping by the club to pick-up Members. Since there is no main office to call for a Jitney and no direct cell phone for drivers we can not call Jitneys for pick-up. If you want to take the Jitney home, you must be out front at the top of the hour.

We are very excited about this new service for our Club Members. We hope that many of you will utilize this safe and convenient means of traveling to and from the Club. Remember that is customary to tip the Jitney Drivers, please let them know we appreciate this service.
